MIE is distinguished by its strategic location along the international highway that links Jordan with Iraq and the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Estate is 12 Km east of Al Muwaqar town, 24 km south east of Abdullah II Industrial Estate in Sahab and 340 Km away from Aqaba port. The overall area of Al Muwaqar Industrial Estate is 250 ha, with the first phase occupying 118.7 ha. The Estate is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and services catering to all investors' needs. Aiming to strike the right balance between the needs of business and industry, the area has also been equipped with modern facilities; such as an internal road network, electricity, modern telecommunication network, sanitation and drainage, as well as a water treatment plant. The estate will be developed over several phases by JIEC based on best international standards. This project will meet the demand for high- quality serviced industrial land and standard factory buildings. Furthermore, MIE is a development area which enjoys a number of incentives and exemptions according to the Jordan Investment Law , which was ratified in 2014.
