JIEC signs an agreement to treat the solid industrial wastes
JIEC and Al-Dana for sustainable development signed an MOU to treat, reuse and recycle the solid industrial wastes.
Dr. Jalal Al- Debea the CEO of JIEC said that this agreement is considered as a part of investment climate which JIEC seeks to create for investors and make the industrial estates more attractive, Since the subject of solid wastes is one of the obstacles face industrial investors, aiming to the results of this agreement in easing the burden of disposing the wastes and make use of it later by converting this waste into materials utilized, especially in the field of renewable energy, stressing the company's role in providing all facilities to the various parties.
Dr. Al-Debea expressed his proudness of the big French role in making this project a reality and praised the strength of bilateral relations between the two friend countries and the extent of the French government's commitment to support Jordan at all levels.
From his side Eng. Zaid Al Faoury the General Manager of Al- Dana for sustainable development confirmed that the agreement itself is the culmination of joint action between the public and private sectors and the exchange of expertise and public benefit that achieve common interests and reflect their impact on attracting investment and create a clean environment contribute to make the country free of contaminants area which is going on in two phases ,begins with studying recycling waste then find the best available ways to deal with the wastes or convert them to energy, which will reduce the power tariff.
French economic adviser Vincent Toussaint expressed his proudness in this agreement which is supported by the French government which reflects the seriousness and interest as a supportive national industry and a positive impact on the investment climate in the industrial estates and serve existing industries regarding the rising electricity tariff, which will provide electricity at the lowest cost to the Industries among the industrial estates.
