Across the industrial Estates scattered in various provinces of the kingdom, the Investment Security Unit and its security units deploy their assigned tasks to protect industrial investments. They promptly address the needs of industrial investors, working to raise the national economy and encourage investment. A secure investment climate is a crucial component of the investment environment worldwide.
The Investment Security Units operate within the facilities of Jordanian Industrial Estates based on agreements signed with the Jordan Industrial Estates company and the General Security Directorate. These agreements aim to provide security coverage for investments and investors. Recently, specialized units have been established in Madaba and Al-Salt Industrial estates, in addition to existing units in other Jordanian industrial Estates such as Sahab, Al-Mwaqqar, Irbid, Al-Karak, and AL-aqaba.
Security patrols from the Investment Security Units are strategically positioned at the entrances and within the corridors of Jordanian Industrial estates. These patrols, exhibiting the highest level of security professionalism, serve industrial investments and address any challenges they may face. The security services provided by the Investment Security Units complement the overall investment environment and contribute to creating a favorable investment climate.
Omar Jwaid, the Director General of Jordanian Industrial Estates Company, emphasized the need for a strong partnership between the General Security Directorate and the company to establish and maintain investment security. The company has signed several agreements with the General Security Directorate, including the deployment of units in Madaba and Al-Salt Industrial Estates. This strategic plan aims to establish direct communication between the units and industrial investors.
Jwaid highlighted the commitment of industrial Estates to providing a safe and attractive environment for investment, acknowledging the valuable collaboration with the General Security Directorate. He commended the Directorate's readiness and professionalism in addressing the security needs of investors and resolving issues promptly.
Investors in the industrial Estates praised the high professionalism of the Investment Security Units and their readiness to handle various field issues. They emphasized that a secure investment environment requires collective cooperation and efforts to attract more industrial investments. These measures align with the royal vision for achieving economic security and preserving investments through strategic security plans and fostering a culture of economic security in coordination with other official entities.
