Jordan Industrial Estates Company confirmed the continuation of the production wheel to provide the local market with various products and commodities that are excluded from the ban, in conjunction with spraying and sterilization operations for its various sites in coordination with the official authorities.
The company indicated in a statement that it worked in coordination with the concerned authorities, chiefly the security authorities, to facilitate the issuance of permits to investors and employment to secure their movement; in order to maintain the sustainability of production and provide market requirements for goods and food.
The general manager of the company, Omar Jwaid, said that the company formed an emergency committee since the beginning of crises, which included all the departments of the operational industrial estates, and linked them directly with the emergency team in the public administration, to follow up the work of field teams that communicate directly with industrial companies to ensure the maintenance of services within the industrial estates and their arrival For investments such as water, electricity, cleaning and security services, and others.
Field teams from the company carried out free periodic spraying campaigns, sterilizing the entrances and facilities of industrial estates and main streets, in coordination with the municipalities in each governorate, ensuring the readiness of industrial companies and ensuring that protection and safety methods are followed in various stages of production and providing them with emergency numbers, and monitoring shopping operations in "supermarkets" "Inside and supervising industrial estates.
Specialized teams sterilize the places of residence of migrant workers in industrial estates, and coordinate with the management of companies to secure the needs of that labor to ensure that they do not leave the estates and mix with employees under these conditions.
The general manager of Mobedco, Mohamed Owais, confirmed the company's ability to continue production in light of the facilities and permits obtained from the official authorities, indicating that the company is ready to produce large quantities of sterilizers and public safety equipment to supply the local market.
A number of industrial investors praised the efforts made by Jordan Industrial Estates Company, in addition to the official efforts that allowed the Jordanian industry to take its role in such circumstances, especially with regard to excluding the pharmaceutical and food industries from the ban decision, and to facilitate obtaining the necessary permits to the minimum to meet market requirements.
